Tonic Fitness Technology Inc. which was established in 1985 by Andy Wu, an engineer by nature and trade. The company started off in the manufacture of mechanical exercise bikes and grew from a staff of 10 to more than 300. Exercise bikes were simple in design and were developed to supply OEM demands from around the world. Little understanding of the true potential of the product and its’ health benefits were needed at the time.

But the company was not satisfied with the simple task of supplying goods to buyers without asking itself how it could improve the very nature of each Tonic product. With plenty of investment in electrical and electronics research and development combined with strong mechanical engineering expertise, Tonic Fitness grew to include a wide range of fitness equipment that rely on such technologies as bikes, spinners, treadmills and elliptical bikes. But it didn’t stop there. Following on from its past successes in electro-mechanical integration, Magtonic products soon developed into state-of-the-art fitness machines that integrate IC (Integrated Circuits), IA (Information Appliances), 3C animation and virtual reality.
